But, im sure u cant get permanent scratches from keys inside your pocket coz, i tested it myself everyday lol. Still then, no harm in getting the case. Btw, the grip on the headset is good too, i dropped the ipod a few times before at my office while hearing it, the headset still maintain it's grip on the ipod probably, i didn’t do serious testing with rings and harder surface.
